Hilton Worldwide is set to open a new hotel at Amsterdam Schiphol airport this week. The new Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol replaces the existing hotel, which is set to be demolished after 43 years of service. The new 433-room hotel will be constructed around a 42-metre high central atrium, which will be directly accessible from the airport terminal. Each of the rooms at Hilton Amsterdam Schiphol is fitted with a 40-inch HDTV and free WiFi. Executive rooms are available on the on the 10th and 11th floors, and also offer access to the Executive Lounge where complimentary breakfast and refreshments are available throughout the day.
Bowery Restaurant offers a good selection of international and Asian-inspired dishes, and is open throughout the day, with Axis serving as the lounge and cocktail bar. A conference centre on the first and second floors has 23 meeting rooms and a ballroom with capacity for up to 640 delegates. An app allows event organisers and marketers to communicate with speakers and attendees
before and during their event. Other facilities include a spa with four treatment rooms, sauna and steam room, and 24-hour fitness centre.
