We asked some of our agents where in the world they would love to visit and what has made their bucket lists.

Maxine Staniland, based in Sheffield, would love to visit Hawaii and Pearl Harbour. “It’s always been on mine and my families bucket lists, we have also always wanted to visit San Francisco. I am busy planning both those destinations right now! Other place I’d love to visit include the Canadian Rockies, Maldives, Vietnam and Cambodia. I am really lucky that my 12 year old son and my husband have a very similar list to me so there is no arguing!”

Natalie Cross said she would love to take her children to experience the Disney magic. “I want to take the children to Orlando to experience the Disney Parks and to have a taste of America. I know that they will love it as they absolutely adore Mickey and Minnie and of course Disney Princesses- especially Frozen! I went there when I was a child and it was amazing so I want my children to have the opportunity to experience the Disney Magic in Florida too. My Bucket List includes travelling to Australia with the family (big adventure but need to wait until the children are older) and Orlando when the girls are a little older too. New Zealand, Vietnam, Thailand, Switzerland, Austria, Lapland, a Caribbean Cruise and a skiing holiday!”

Having been interested in travel from a young age Peridot Harrison has had one particular favourite on her bucket list. “Since starting in travel at the age of 16 I’ve always wanted to do the Inca Trail in Peru. I am lucky enough to be doing this in May 2016 just after my 40th birthday! Other things that were on my list which I’ve managed to do are bungee jumping in New Zealand, sky diving, swimming with turtles in Barbados and diving the Great Barrier Reef! I still have lots I want to explore including Alaska, the Rockies, London to Venice on the Orient Express and travelling across Europe in our VW campervan.”

Daryl Glean has recently ticked off one of his Bucket List by travelling to the Far East. “China was on my wish list for several years, but I manage to visit one of my dream destinations last week on a 10 day tour visiting Shanghai, Xian and Beijing as my holiday. My highlights were visiting the Great Wall of China in Beijing and terracotta warriors in Xian. I managed to sample the local food and enjoy some of the local nightlife which involved Chinese line dancing in a park square. Next on my list is Brazil, Seychelles, cruising along the amazon and taking a bullet train in Japan.”

Natalie Poat has made a start on her bucket list with her family by experiencing a fantastic sixth month trip. “One of the things on our bucket list was a round the world trip which we managed in 2006/7 with a 6 month holiday taking in the USA, Costa Rica, a half cruise/half cargo ship voyage in the Marquesas (a group of islands 1000 miles from Tahiti), New Zealand, Australia including climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge and learning to dive on the Barrier Reef, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. It was an amazing trip and the memories will last a lifetime.”

Susan Dempsey has some difficult decisions to make on how to make one of her dream destinations perfect. “One destination on my bucket list is going to see the Northern Lights in 2016 (my 40th Birthday) however the hardest choice at the moment is where to go. Will it be Treehotel in Swedish Lapland or the Aurora Safari Camp in Sweden but my absolute favourite is Kakslauttanen Holiday Village which is Finnish Lapland….all will undoubtedly be amazing destinations. I also wanted to combine this with a stay in Reykjavik as this is a great city, lots of bars and restaurants and of course finish at Blue Lagoon…….truly special for my big birthday!”
